Clinics and Conventions

One of the best ways to learn is through hands-on experience. To help promote opportunities to gain hands-on experience, USA Baseball and the ABCA have joined forces to provide high quality, engaging clinics and conventions for coaches of all levels. The events listed below each offer unique possibilities to not only learn more about the art of coaching, but to also help build a network of fellow coaches.

Community Events

Community clinics are FREE to attend and to host, and provide an opportunity for coaches to learn and grow by interacting with one another, allowing veteran coaches to pass their knowledge and guidance down to fellow coaches. Our Community Clinics aren’t the typical coaching clinic- these clinics are active, engaging, and fun. Coaches will gain hands on experience on the field as they themselves go through drills and lessons throughout the clinic.

Barnstormer Clinics are one-day events for baseball coaches that focus on fundamentals, practical position-specific drills, coaching cues, and practice organization tips. The events are hosted by ABCA member coaches and are open to the public. They typically run 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each clinic will feature ABCA member speakers from that region.
